Lava Iris 504Q
Lava has just released its latest smart phone in its ever-expanding Eye line-up—the Lava Iris 504Q . Lava is focusing on the mid-end section with its cost above of Rs 13,000, and is looking to contend straight with companies Micromax’s Fabric line-up. Let us see if it can contend, shall we?
Design and build
The Lava Iris 504Q has a very simple and almost stylish style. The product actions at 140 x 73 x 8 mm. The top side is absolutely featureless with just the display and three capacitive control buttons below it—Menu, Home and Returning. Confusingly, though, the Selection key has the visual of the Latest Applications key personalized on to it, which puzzled us at first.
The back has a flat complete rubberised nasty protect, which seems enjoyable to keep and gives the Mobile a more stylish look. However, this is weakened by the awkward bright presenter grill near the end of the system. Near the top on the rear is an 8 mega-pixel present shooter. Below it is an LED display and the noise-cancellation Mic.
On the right part of the Mobile is the secure key, which enhances as an energy key, while the remaining part has the quantity rocking chairs. The top has all the slots, such as the 3.5 mm headset slot and the micro USB slot.
Features
The smart phone operates on Android Operating System 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and, amazingly, does not have any UI skinning by Lava. Under the bonnet, it’s operated by a quad-core Media Tek MT6589 processer which is 1.2GHz and 1GB of RAM. This creates it quite reasonable for your multi-tasking needs.
The Mobile comes included with Apps, such as the conventional range of Google’s Apps like the Perform Shop, which is your main resource for installing newly discovered Apps. It also comes included with some activities, such as Game loft Contemporary Fight 2. There is also the Combination mp3 gamer, which allows you flow and get any music, but the validity of this is doubtful at best.
Media
The Lava Iris 504Q comes included with two music players—the inventory Android operating system one and a customized gamer known as Combination designed by Lava. The customized gamer has a Holo concept, going with the relax of the Jelly Bean Mobile. The exclusive thing about the press gamer is that not only does it run your own music collection, but it also has a radio-esque function which you can use to flow music. The streaming music can even be downloadable to the system itself. This function, however, seems a bit bogus at best, and that is not just because of the validity of it. A number of music we explored for provided us coldly incorrect outcomes.

Celkon Signature HD A119Q
Media Tek MTK 6589 chipsets are seen on almost every price range Android operating system smart cellphone available these days. Having features such as a quad-core processer and the PowerVR GPU, price range smart cellphone producers are applying this chipset on almost all their current leading models. Since most recent price range mobile phones sold in Indian are presenting the same components, the only significant variations we get to see are show size and solutions, RAM potential, storage space potential and build/aesthetic versions. We saw the same chipset in a few other devices we analyzed earlier and same is the situation with the Celkon Signature HD A119Q . So what does the A119Q have uncommon? We discover out.
Design and Build
The Celkon Signature HD A119Q system is wrapped in a completely shiny white-colored spend and is a dust magnetic. There is also a black edition, which we think is a bit more attractive. The product is designed very strongly with no creaky sides or any other such difficult places to get noticable. The top part functions the huge show with the three backlit touch control buttons – Returning, House and Selection – at the end. The top activities the ear piece, front part photographic camera and the light/proximity indicator window. The rear board activities the main photographic camera with an LED display living next to it. Towards the end is a presenter grill and the brand name produced. The sides and base of the system have a shiny huge nasty cut, giving the cellphone a bit top quality experience. The measure musician and the power/standby control buttons take their places on the right and top of the smart cellphone . Finally, the top also functions the headset port and the small USB port.
Slip out the nasty back board and you will discover the two GSM SIM cards spots and a hot-swappable small SD cards port. At the end part is a huge presenter beneath shiny metal capable. We did see a minimal but frustration defect on the production part. The energy button, which is presented on the top of the system, is placed on the outside on a small PCB with the wire operating into the structure. Since the PCB and the wire is easily seen in an out direction, it looks bad and could be vulnerable to damage, dust and moisture. Apart from this, we did not discover any problems with the develop. But we would also like to bring up that the system is a tad bulkier and is out at 177 grms. The cellphone measures 148 x 74.5 x 9.3 mm. The product appearance does look like the New samsung Universe sequence, except for the huge base level, which functions the control buttons and the shiny cut around the structure. Overall, the Celkon Signature HD A119Q does look excellent due to the nice style applied.
Features
The Celkon Signature HD A119Q is designed using the Media Tek MTK 6589 presenting a quad-core ARMv7 processer operating at 1.2GHz and a PowerVR SGX544MP GPU. The program is provided with an excellent 1GB of RAM, but the inner storage space remains at 4GB, just as most price range devices. Out of this inner 4GB, 2.65GB is available for customer information while the relax is taken up by the os, programs and app information. You can increase the storage space up to 32GB using a small SD cards.
The show is a huge 5-incher wearing a quality of 720 x 1280 p with a ppi of 294. There are no details of the show presenting an IPS board or a regular TFT board, but the show does look near to an IPS kind due to the excellent watching perspectives. The rear present shooter is a 12.6MP photographic camera reinforced with an LED display. Unfortunately, despite having a quad-core processer and 1GB of RAM, the photographic camera records video clips at only 720p quality. We did try searching deep into the photographic camera configurations for finding out if this is the limit or the standard configurations are kept to 720p itself, but in useless. The photographic camera activities other functions such as GPS labeling, EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), time slide up, rush (40 shots), face recognition, anti sparkle, color results, and a few other photo and movie results. The top part photographic camera is a 3.1MP for movie talk.
Connectivity options are Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G, EDGE, Wireless blue tooth 4.0, Micro USB PC customer interface and A-GPS. The os set up is Google Android operating system Jelly Bean edition 4.2.1. The launcher is inventory with three built-in styles. These styles just have a minimal change in colors, symbols and such, and the setting is named as “Style” instead of “Themes”. The os has a few included programs pre-installed in the firmware. These include a few enjoyment programs, games, efficiency programs and a security app. To end up the entire functions area, the A119Q is powered by a 2100 mAh Li-ion battery, which should last you through the working day with basic to informal use. Bundled along with the system is a battery charger, in-ear headphones, a small USB information wire, a 100 % free display guard and a matte-finish all-white turn situation.
Performance and customer interface
The Android operating system Jelly Bean os set up on the A119Q seems constant. We did not see any lags, nerves, slowdowns or major bugs. Thanks to the 1GB of RAM, the os operates sleek on the components provided to it. We discovered a problem in a few places and would like to emphasize the same. First of all, the system has a noisy boot up music, which is distressing and there is no way to turn off or avoid it to lower amounts. Cheering the system could be the only help for it. Secondly, the Wi-Fi toggle in the toggle change place of the notice bar had an issue too. Usually, it should toggle the wireless network on/off when used once. In this situation, you need to tap and hold the toggle change for the place to stimulate. The other toggles worked without any problems. The second place of concern was the show. Towards the sides of the display, one can see the LED backlight lighting the sides a little too shiny. A shiny line is seen and is distressing when surfing around or watching a movie. Additionally, the property, menu and back changes are backlit with very white-colored LEDs and they don’t convert off on their own. This lighting of the changes could also be frustrating after a while. There are no configurations to convert them down or change them off after a few seconds.
To test the primary strength of the chipset, we did run our regular benchmarking assessments on it. Though the chipset is just like most price range mobile phones in the same classification, the performance does differ due to the different functions such as the program RAM, show size and kind, and modifications and bloat ware set up in the os. As per our assessments, AnTuTu obtained 13186, Quadrant obtained 3950 and Linpack provided us a structure rate of 44.5 fps. Lin pack provided ratings of 36.51 MFLOPS and 126.81 MFLOPS in the single-thread and multi-thread assessments . Performing on the ratings, we compared the A119Q to the relax of the group and discovered the performance much near to the Gionee E3, Liven Mi500, Xolo Q700 and the Micromax Fabric HD, which fall in the same classification (there may be more devices too). This performance can differ now and then as the devices are all based on the amount of 100 % free RAM, programs set up, operating programs and the normal temperature. Our assessments are performed after a manufacturer totally reset with inventory firmware and pre-installed programs.

Lenovo K900 Mobile Review
After introducing the Lenovo K900 leading device in Jan this year, Lenovo lastly released the cellphone in Indian. The cellphone, which comes with pretty strong requirements, is cost reasonably in the Native indian industry and will be available for sale This summer forward.
Lenovo K900 operates on the New Android Operating System edition Jam Vegetable 4.2.2 out of the box. The cellphone or rather a Tablet comes with a 5.5-inches IPS LCD capacitive touch-screen. The quality is 1080 x 1920 p and the cellphone comes with Gorilla Cup 2.
Under the bonnet of the Lenovo Lenovo K900 operates a dual-core 2 GHz Apple Atom processer. Lenovo K900 comes with just one storage space edition, 16 GB. However, there is a storage port and the storage can be extended to an extra 32 GB via Micro SD cards port. Lenovo K900 comes with 2 GB RAM.
The back board sports a huge 13 MP back-end camera with dual-LED display. The video-calling photographic camera is 2 MP. The cellphone comes with functions like geo-tagging, contact concentrate, face recognition, auto-focus, etc.
The cellphone does not have several color options and comes with a non-removable 2500 mAh battery power.
Priced Above Rs 32,000, the cellphone is a reasonable deal. While the cellphone the need for the quad-core processer, Lenovo made up by costs the cellphone in the sub-35k show. Also, the 13 MP back-end photographic camera will definitely be a powerful selling feature.
While Lenovo K900 cannot be straight compared to other Android operating system flagships like HTC One and New Samsung Galaxy S4, the cellphone is definitely a powerful cellphone in the product classification. It blends convenience with exciting functions and a powerful photographic camera.
Lenovo K900
Lenovo’s way to lead a way for itself in the smart cellphone competition seems to be working well in its favour. With some very attractive price range promotions already in the marketplace, the company is seeking big now by integrating with Apple to release its newest Clover Trail+ SoC. The Lenovo K900 is the first smart cellphone to be operated by the Atom Z2580 SoC, a more extremely effective and effective edition of the Medfield. The Lenovo K900 will perform in the Rs 30,000 price bracket, which indicates it will contest with the New Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 as it also drops in the “phablet” classification.
Design and build
Shipped in an attractive program, the Lenovo K900 is an actual elegance in every feeling of the phrase. The cellphone has a very stylish style, with the top part being covered with Gorilla Cup. The device actions just 6.9 mm detailed and is in at 162 g. It does not feel large at all, although it’s hard to neglect the large 5.5-inch show. The Lenovo K900 seems tremendous in your part and the pitching wedge formed style is not at all ergonomic office. It’s a actual process to use it single-handedly and when you do, the cellphone tends to slide out of your part since there is nothing to hold.
Sleek and amazing design
The relax of the chassis has a commercial style and is designed absolutely using stainless-steel and thermoplastic. The fit and complete is quite simply excellent and seems like it can quickly hold up against a few drops. There happens to be micro USB asking for slot at the end and 3.5 mm earphone slot, micro USB slot, energy and measure rocking chairs on either part. There is no supply for growing the storage, which is one of the greatest painful factors of the device. There’s 16GB of storage space, out of which only 9.7GB is available for applications and other press.
Overall, the Lenovo K900 ratings big factors on develop and style, but drops similarly when it comes to ergonomics.
Features
Jelly Bean 4.2.1 has gone through some very large skinning by Lenovo. Most of the functions and strategies that we’ve seen before are back, at the same time in a clean new skin. Lenovo seems to have taken a lot of the concept and UI functions from Go Launcher, as a lot of choices to personalize the scrolling animated graphics etc. A new inclusion is Lenovo’s Super gallery, which provides a very Metro-like review for your pictures. Lenovo Power is another new inclusion, which gives you a very extensive way to handle your mobile phones battery energy lifespan. The Application is always operating and tracking your battery energy and has the capability to instantly change between information, which can be extremely specialised. The “Settings” choice is also improved a bit, with an individual tab for actions.

LG Optimus
LG’s Optimus system has lastly came on Native indian shoreline. And while some might grumble about the wait it has taken to get here, what cannot be declined is that it is perhaps the most reasonably cost of the new quad primary system reproduce. But does it do enough to win LG some ground?
Looks
Loud in-your-face style has not been LG’s strength since the periods of the Candy and the Prada. Indeed, the organization seems to be following a more moderate look of delayed and the LG Optimus shows that. Seen from the top side, the LG Optimus seems like a dark piece with no real control buttons at all, with a metal boundary on the edges and the LG organization logo on top of the 4.7-inch Gorilla Cup contact show, next to the top side experiencing photographic camera. The cellphone has a bit rounded experience with the edges sloping towards the returning wrapped in scratch-resistant glass, which also homes a 13.0-megapixel present shooter, and is non-removable. LG has again kept the measure musician on the remaining, which is a bit uncommon, while the display/power on/off key is on the right. Amazingly, there is no photographic camera key – we predicted one in a photographic camera with this mega-pixel depend. All in all, there is nothing very uncommon or excellent about the looks of the LG Optimus. No, it does not look bad, but neither is it likely to take a place out in a audience or create leads convert.
Hardware
The 4.7-inch show has a very decent 1280 x 768 quality with a pixel solidity of 318 ppi – numbers that are similar with those of the iPhone 5 and Universe SIII. Energizing it is a 1.5 GHz quad primary Krait processer, assisted by 2GB of RAM. The product comes with 32GB of on panel storage space, but has no extended storage space port. There are two cameras – the 13.0-megapixel one at the returning and an 1.3-megapixel one at the front side. When it comes to connection, the system comes with everything you could ask for: 3G, Wi-Fi, Wireless, NFC and GPS. In components conditions, this is a high quality all right.
Software
LG has fortunately launched the LG Optimus on a relatively new edition of Android operating system in Native indian, Android operating system 4.1.2 or Jam bean. Yes, we know that Android operating system 4.2 has been around for a while now, but then not too many devices in the nation have it anyway. And LG has included a few nice interface variations to it – such as, in contact with the closed display will expose a bit of what exactly is below it (a bit like a magnifier glass). You can also place app strategies on the secure display so that opening the show requires you directly to the applications. Of course, there are the regular five customisable homescreens on which one can recreation area applications and strategies and in yet another nice contact, LG’s Quick Memo can be found in the alert bar, allowing you to take a screen shot of any app and then creating notices on it. It is not the most convenient app to comprehend, but multitaskers who really like to create scribbles all enough time will appreciate it. Also on panel is the Polaris Workplace Package for managing MS Workplace information, a web browser, videos clip manager, a climate app, a speech recording unit and a few other useful applications (you can always go to Search engines Perform for more). This being Android operating system, you get online community and email connection out of the box!
Multimedia
The LG Optimus spectacular show creates watching HD movies and getting referrals a satisfaction. However, we must acknowledge that we predicted better from the 13.0-megapixel photographic camera, which provides up average outcomes. Colors were not the biggest and low mild photos were stuffed with disturbance. Video was much better, though. The presenter is about par for the course, but audio through the included headphones is very excellent indeed. And of course, the processer and specifications mean that the cellphone can manage fairly much everything you can toss at it in enjoyment conditions. Oh but for a better camera!
Performance: Very good
We must acknowledge to being stunned at the performance of the LG Optimus. The show is amazing, the components excellent and although we did need to hurry to renew our cellphone at the end of the day, we never experienced only one lag or recession, whether we were enjoying Forehead Run, surfing around the Web or remodeling movie. We also liked the changes LG has created to the connection, and the vibrant wall picture. The three contact routing control buttons below the show could, however, have been more sensitive – we sometimes had to jab at them a few periods to create them do.
